چکیده

: Oral lichen planus (OLP) is a relatively common chronic inflammatory disease. The tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) considered as major mediator in inflammation reactions. No review articles have been done on evaluating TNF-α levels before and after performing standard treatments of OLP so far. This study aimed to provide complete the association between this cytokine well determining role therapeutic agents improving lesions by measuring level cytokine. Some databases including PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, Embase (Ovid) with keywords oral planus, Nuclear Factor Kappa B (NF-κB), OLP, TNF-α, Tumor Necrosis Factor-alpha without time limit (2017 - 1900) were searched collect needed data from related articles. For purpose, 14 completely included study. Of them, 3 studies that assessed effect treatment meta-analysis. As result, significant patients has shown (P-value = 0.02). was higher than normal subjects, it can be suggested may useful prognosis effectiveness performed.

Association between Tumor Necrosis Factor- α-308 G/A Polymorphism and Multiple Sclerosis: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a complex polygenic disease in which gene-environment interactions are important. A number of studies have investigated the association between tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) -308 G/A polymorphism (substitution G→A, designated as TNF1 and TNF2) and MS susceptibility in different populations, but the results of individual studies have been inconsistent. Therefore, per...
